                                     NEWS 

24/01/2008 - First lecture will take place today at 13.00 in LT 1.

31/01/2008 - Coursework Specification was released today. You can download it here.

04/02/2008 - Professor Ross Anderson has agreed to come and give a seminar on 25th April.

05/02/2008 - Course textbook is now be available from the Jubilee Library.

11/02/2008 - Coursework groups have now been released. You can view them here. The coursework has now oficially started. Please remember to follow the coursework specification carefully! To obtain your installation disc and credentials for your machine, send one group member with his/her student card to room A39 during support hours.

20/02/2008 - This week's lectures on cryptography and its applications will be given by Robert Oates.

29/02/2008 - Today's guest lecture will be given by Professor Angela Sasse from UCL. The title of her talk: Beyond "usable security": how to manage the human element in security.

29/02/2008 - Don't forget that today is the last day of the first stage of the coursework. The lab will be isolated from the internet starting tonight. The second stage of the coursework will commence on monday.

19/04/2008 - The coursework lab has been closed today.

22/04/2008 - The coursework deadline has now passed.

24/04/2008 - Please don't forget tomorrow's seminar/guest lecture which will be given by Professor Anderson. More information about his talk can be found here. Slides for this talk have also been already uploaded and can be found below.

                                     TIMETABLE 

Lectures will take place on the following days:

          Thursday - LT 1 @ 13.00

          Friday - LT 3 @ 14.00

The coursework lab B52 will be available every day during normal University opening hours from the start of the coursework period (from third week of this semester onwards) for the duration of the coursework.
